Lania is a small traditional village in the hills of the wine making region of Lemesos.
The Village of Lania is about 25km north of Lemesos on the road to the Troodos Mountains and with an altitude of 575 meters from sea level it provides great views for visitors. Lania is one of the grape cultivating villages of the island. Whilst its residents were mainly employed in the cultivation of vines - and the production of wines, Zivania (spirit) and Soutzoukos (grape sweet)
